It's 1961 at Rydell High and the Pink Ladies and the T-Birds are still the epitome of cool. But over the summer something has happened to Stephanie, the leader of the Pink Ladies. She feels she has outgrown Johnny, the head T-Bird, and is looking for new love - one who's even cooler and whose bike is even hotter. Newcomer Michael is smitten with Stephanie, so a conflict between Johnny and Michael begin.
